Heather Puntoriero and Scott Kunkel in New York

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Puntoriero and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kunkel of Cheektowaga, New York are proud to announce the engagement of their children Heather A Puntoriero and Scott J Kunkel on December 21, 2008.

After spending a Western NY snowstorm Sunday wandering around the Eastern Hills Mall, Scott took Heather to Shogun's Restaurant and Sushi bar, one of their favorite places to eat. Looking out the car window at the abundance of snow falling that afternoon, Scott chose to propose within the warmth of the car. Of, course she said "Yes"!

After graduation in 2007 from Cleveland Hill High School, Heather attended and graduated top of her class from the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan. Scott originally attended Alfred University for Sports Training following graduation, but changed career goals and is now attending ECC for Restaurant Management. Both work at Tempo Restaurant on Delaware Avenue where Heather is Pantry Chef.

The two intend to stay in the area, with a wedding date to be set in the near future.
