We are pleased to present our new Wedding Packages for your review. Our menus have been prepared to provide you with a guide, we will be happy to create customized menus tailored to your vision.
Your wedding package will include the following:
- Complimentary Cheese, Fruit, Vegetable Crudites & 2 hot items during the first hour of Cocktails
- Elegantly served or Plated or Buffet Dinner
- Ivory table linens
- Complimentary Jacuzzi Suite the evening of your reception
- Special Room Rates for your overnight guests*
- Set-up and breakdown of banquet space including placement of favors, place cards.
Wedding FAQ…
How do I secure a wedding date?
In order to hold space on a definite basis, a signed contract, credit card for guarantee and deposit are required. The initial deposit is $500, and is non –refundable. Three months prior to your event date $1000 is due. Pre-payment, based on the estimated cost is required for all wedding receptions to be paid in full 5 days prior to your event.
What are the service charge and sales tax amounts?
20% service charge and the current 8% sales tax.
How many people does your space comfortably hold?
We can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people at round tables, with your buffet inside of the room. Typically we seat 10-12 people per round table.
With which vendors do I need to make arrangements?
Wedding Coordinators, Florists, Entertainment (DJ/Band), photographer, videographer, wedding cake service and delivery should be hired by the bride and groom. Your Sales Manager will have names of recommended vendors if you need assistance. Other recommendations for your event may include: personalized menu cards, silver cake plateaus, crystal toasting flutes, cake knife and server sets.
What will the Comfort Suites Provide?
The Comfort Suites will provide the food and beverage, servers, bartenders, tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, glassware, dance floor, staging and all set up and clean up for your event.
What kind of linens does the hotel provide?
The Comfort Suites can provide white or other in stock colors. Specialty linens can be arranged through your Sales Manager at an additional cost.
Is it necessary to have seating arrangements or should I let the guests sit where they want?
It is your big day so you may do whatever you see fit for your group. However, the Comfort Suites suggests prearranged seating for a plated dinner. Place cards may be set on a table at the entrance of the Banquet room that lists the guests’ names and the table they are to be seated at. Place cards should also indicate the meal selection a guest has chosen from a formal plated meal. The Comfort Suites will provide table numbers but we do not provide place cards. We will be happy to set place cards if they are provided to us prior to the event.
Can I meet with the Comfort Suites Sales Manager prior to my event to go over final details?
Absolutely!! That is what your Sales Manager is here for! Making your special day perfect is what we strive for. Your Sales Manager does as that you provide the name of someone in your bridal party that our staff can go to with any questions that may arise during your event; it’s your special day to enjoy.
When should we notify the hotel of our guaranteed guest attendance?
Final guarantees are due by noon 5 business days prior to your function.
Does the hotel allow outside food and beverage?
No. The Comfort Suites must supply all food and liquor as regulated by the New York State Department of Health and the New York Alcohol and Beverage Commission. Wedding Cakes are the exception to this policy.
Does the hotel offer special room rates for our guests?
Room blocks are available for out of town guests. Our Sales Manager will be able to provide you with rates and information. Based on availability, limitations do apply. Room blocks can holy be held and guaranteed with a signed contract.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Cancellation of an event will be subject to a cancellation fee as noted in your contract.
Does the Comfort Suites provide a shuttle service?
Yes! We have a complimentary airport shuttle; other destinations can be arranged for a fee.
Can I or someone from my wedding party come to decorate the room prior to my reception?
Yes. You will need to arrange the time with your Sales Manager. You or someone from your wedding party will be able to come at this appointed time to arrange decor, centerpieces, etc. Arriving prior to the arranged time will not guarantee that the room set will be completed. The Comfort Suites will require a $100.00 clean up charge for confetti. The Comfort Suites Sales Manager will be happy to decorate and set your centerpieces and dcor for a fee. We require that all materials be delivered to the hotel the day prior to your reception, aside from flowers.
When should we discuss our menu selections?
A complimentary tasting can be scheduled up to six months prior to the event date. Tasting menus can be selected from either our wedding menus or customized menus can be created with you, the Sales Manager and Caterer. If a plated meal is selected for your event, we encourage you to select your menu before ordering your invitations, as you are required to give your Sales Manager a head count per meal selected. Menus and detail should be finalized with your Sales Manager no later then one month prior to your event. A head count is due 5 days prior to the event.
