Sarah & Eric in New York

Eric and I have been together for over 6 years. June 5th we left Buffalo for a vacation in Boston which we had both been just dreaming about because of our LOVE for the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Park. Eric had been there before, he saw Nolan Ryan pitch, sat behind home plate, everything that I had been dreaming to do. What I was looking forward to the most on this trip was the weekend. I managed to win a lotto for the opportunity to buy Green Monster Tickets which are EXTREMELY hard to come by, and a friend of our also gave us 2 more sets of tickets to make it a full weekend of baseball, which I was very excited for. The day after we arrived, June 6th, we did a tour of Fenway Park, and I was in awe. Just all the history, and hearing about the former team and the fans, tradition, the whole nine yard. I was hanging on to every word that came out of our tour guide's mouth. As we were touring the stadium, we went to 4 different spots in the park, the grandstand, the press box, the new Budweiser deck, and then capped it off with the Green Monster. As we were leaving the Budweiser deck to go to the Green Monster seats, my boyfriend said to me, let's go over here and take more pictures. I was actually agitated with him!! I wanted to keep going!! I said Eric but the tour is leaving!! and just as those words left my mouth he said I can't wait any longer And that's when he asked me to marry him. There just happened to be a team photographer following us on the tour and a man had slapped the guy on the arm and said are you getting this? That guy just proposed! Eric and I were crying and laughing, and as we were posing for pictures, the photographer actually started crying too!! Saying that this was the best thing 2 Red Sox fans could do, and he couldn't believe he was a part of it.It was amazing!! It was EXACTLY how and where I had dreamed it would happen.
