Mindi & AJ in New York

My fiancee AJ and I (Melinda) met our first day as
freshman at SUNY Fredonia. We live together off campus
so during the summer AJ and I decided to go to our
apartment for the night to get away. AJ then decided
that it would be nice to get a picture of the two of
us while the sun was setting on the beach (Lake Erie
is about 5 minutes away and the beach there is a big
place to go for college student.) While we were
waiting for the sun to set, I could tell AJ was really
anxious which is very unlike him. We got a few good
pictures in when AJ really started to ramble about us,
our relationship, and the future which is also unlike
him. All of a sudden he just stops and gets down on
one knee and asks me to marry him! I said yes
instantly and haven't stopped smiling since!
